Lip Blush
-
Lip Blush is a semi- permanent cosmetic tattoo that enhances the natural tone of your lips, adds subtle definition, and corrects uneven colour. It's not about bold lipstick — it's a soft tint that gives a healthy, natural-looking flush.
-
Please allow 2.5 to 3 hours for your appointment. This includes consultation, lip design, colour matching, numbing, and the actual tattooing process.
-
I do everything I can to keep you comfortable. I pre-numb with a high-quality topical anaesthetic and is also used throughout the procedure if needed.
Most clients describe the sensation as mild discomfort or light scratching. -
Lip Blush results typically last 2-3 years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and how well you care for your lips. A perfecting session is required 8-12 weeks after your first appointment to refine the shape and colour.
-
Immediately after, lips may feel slightly swollen and appear darker - this is completely normal.
Over the next 5-10 days, lips will lightly flake as they heal. The final colour settles and softens over 4-6 weeks. I recommend booking your touch-up between 8-12 weeks. -
Lip Blush is not suitable if you are:
• Pregnant or breastfeeding
• On blood thinners or Roaccutane
• Undergoing chemotherapy• Have certain medical conditions (a GP note may be required)
We'll go through a full consultation before your appointment to ensure it's the right treatment for you. -
I work with a full range of professional pigments to customise your perfect shade - from natural pinks and warm nudes to soft berry tones. You'll leave with a colour that flatters your complexion and gives that "your lips but better" look.
-

Great results start with good prep:

• Gently exfoliate your lips 1-2 days before
• If you've ever had cold sores, you must take prescribed antiviral medication to prevent an outbreak - please speak with your GP -
Absolutely. Once healed, you can still apply lipstick if you wish — or enjoy the freedom of not needing it!
